It always delights and amazes us to witness the transformation of our urban contemporary photographic space into a scene of someone’s fantastic imagination and this is what happened at Rokeby Studios just recently.
Our usually pristine white cyclorama was decked over with a 40 square meter LED dance floor while supersized donuts, pandas, Pikachus and Kittys were suspended like super cute thought bubbles from the rafters.
The team from The Design Depot went to town with cupcake and burger style been bags, a games arcade complete with pin ball machines and a sticker booth, an 8 meter long transparent pink cocktail bar and the most vividly coloured toilet paper you’d ever see. Not a detail was overlooked.
The Big Group created a stunning array of finger foods themed to the occasion including love heart shaped sushi, oysters with sake and lemon pearls, mini chocolate ice cream cones with miso caramel and kinako & mandarin exploding wagon wheels.
… and as is always the case, 24 hours later, Rokeby Studios had returned to a beautiful world class photographic facility, ready to be transformed again by another creative visionary.
